Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Our Supply Chain Management (SCM) programs consist of the following:

• Managed Bonded Inventory — ±30 days safety stock of critical components held at Venkel. “Push” or “pull” materials depending on your changing demand.
• KanBan Inventory (Auto Replenishment) — ±90 days worth of forecasted usage stocked at Venkel. Critical parts released by you without any predetermined dates.
• QT/LV Program — Stands for Quick Turn / Low Volume program. Great for quick turn contract manufactures or customers that have lower usage and would not qualify for a normal replenished inventory program. Slightly higher liability but offers the same great service and benefits.
• Consigned Inventory (In-Plant Store) —inventory of high usage products maintained at your site. Manage your cash flow better because there is no invoice until you actually use it.
• Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI/3PL) — forecasted inventory maintained at a nearby 3rd party warehouse. Used together with EDI to ease production bottlenecks and better manage your cash flow.
