Greetings:

Welcome to the April 2009 issue of 1st Alert.  Being the new Editor of 1st Alert has been an exciting time with lots of engineering activity. It is amazing how many engineers I  converse with from month to month from many different parts of the world, each with varying applications and within a wide range of industries. There is always something new to learn as engineers relay their own unique technical experiences and knowledge.

In this issue we are making you aware that we have expanded the 10uF in 1206, 25V to the X7R dielectric, which now has an operating temperature range up to 125C.  This 10uF in 1206 and 25V was previously only available in the X5R dielectric. We are continuously researching viable new improvements and options such as expanding existing values/voltages in the X7R dielectric.

Also this month, we would like to ask for your feedback by way of a quick survey to determine usage and interest in High Value C0G capacitors, in relation to possibly using them to replace Film Caps.
